Kihon, Sparring and Self Defence


Today we started with strictly Kihon Suri Ashi Gyaku Tsuki, Mae Geri and Mawashi Geri.

When we had finished the Kihon training for today we did some Sparring with low kicks and kicking and punching to the body and the head. We only do skin touch to the head at our Dojo, and some more contact to the rest of the body.

We practiced some self defense techniques on the ground as well. How to defend yourself against someone who is punching you in different situations, like if the opponent are sitting on top of you.

Last thing we did was to get up standing again and break the opponents balance in different ways. It's important to move your own body when doing that.
