Träning och sånt

Igår repeterade svart- och brunbältena Koryu Uchinadi hela passet efter uppvärmingen. Det var riktigt roligt. Efter passet var vi ute och åt en god middag hos Vietnamesen i porten bredvid dojon. Roligt och trevligt att sitta och prata strunt med alla. Det var en bra kväll. Sedan var det ganska sent och det var jättemysigt att komma hem och mysa ner i soffan.

Har tillbringat dagen med att köra hoj på motorbana. Det har varit en bra dag med en instruktör som kunde sätta fingret på några detaljer som gjorde min körning mycket bättre. Kändes det som i alla fall. Önskar jag kunde få köra imorgon också för han har gett mig en till uppgift till nästa gång jag kör. Detta är sista kurshelgen för året och nästa säsong drar inte igång förrän maj nästa år. Det är lite sorgligt att hålla på med sporter som är så pass säsongsbetonade. Antagligen blir min nästa körning först på måndag och det är en instruktörsdag och det sista vi gör för i år. Det jag jobbade med idag var blicken och att få ut överkroppen ordentligt. Eller snarare kombinationen och timingen av det. Nästa grej är tt släppa av, snabbstyra, ge mer gas när jag i rätt ögonblick sätter blicken på rätt ställe. Kan knappt vänta!

I've found them! Yesterday we got together, the three of us that are going in the same car to the track for 4 days, and we tried to get three motorcycles up on one small trailer. Might be a problem to secure them all. But we got them up on the trailer all of them at last. Unbelievable! We decided that we are going to put the lowest bike inside the car and take only the Str III and the last one on the trailer instead. That's probably much safer for the bikes. I really love my Str III you know, and I don't want to drop it from the trailer. I checked with the organizers that there will be some other girls too participating. I don't want to be the only one there. Now we are at least 6 or 7 girls that are going to drive our bikes, and many of the guys there brings their family there. Yesterday I showed my parents the pictures from the Go Kart track. They wanted to see some pictures me driving the bike. We don't live in the same part of the country and they haven...

Nice! First time with my bike on a Go Kart track. Well, first time ever on a track for me at all. Couldn't fall asleep the night before, sometimes I just can't. Was still awake at the sun rise. Had about two huors sleep before I went up to have some breakfast and leave towards Rörken Motorstadion in Uppsala. Rörken - here I come! One hour motorway drive to Uppsala. I was a bit tired that early in the morning so I decided to start carefully. When I got closer to Uppsala I found out they had changed, moved and rebuilt all the roads all over the place so my GPS was a bit confused. Need to update the maps and information in it as soon as possible. Finally I got there by guessing a lot. The last part of the roads turned out to be gravelled roads! I haven't been driving on that for many, many years! I tried to remember to relax all the time and let the bike just do it's work. I haven't tried this bike on that kind of roads yet and it's still intact now so it...

Saturday and I went to Rosenhill for a Caffe Latte and an ice cream so I could get an excuse for some driving today too. Yesterday made me want to just stay on the bike. Forever or something. Met another Triumph owner there who looket at my Street Triple, we talked about that for a while and he told me about some nice roads I just have to try sometime! When I got back home it was time to get something to eat and that ended up at the best Mongolian Barbeque in Stockholm that I like.
